Hi all - looking to learn here. My wife and I are thinking of building a car together, so I decided to do some research.

Not entirely new to the rod scene. My father had a 32 5wdw - all steel, SBC and 3 speed back in 75 - Black with flames of course!

Would love to re create that car but I may need to convince the wife.

I would love a 32 5 wdw, flat head motor, mostly retro looking maybe something like they woulda built in the 40's but steel and those ain't easy to find - hoping there is a replacement kit out there somewhere?

Other cars that interest me : 40's-50's fords, 64-70 Mustangs, old Torinos, Any old delivery style trucks ect.

PS - I also (for some strange reason) have a desire to do a 32 hi-boy , nice but with a Toyota I-force V8 motor (outta a tundra) IIRC you can get a factory supercharger. Would be different and certaintly reliable.
