    Hello!

I just joined and want to say a little about myself. I have been a car freak for as long as I remember. My first car was a 1964 GTO convertable. I built a strong 400 and drag raced it for a few years. It ran in the 12.80's. I've had too many cars to list here so I will just tell you about my current projects. I have 3. The first is a 1984 Porsche 944 that have swapped in a 302 small block Chevy. It isn't finished yet. I am building it to be a replica of a 1980 924 Carrera GTS. My second project is a 1950 Willys pick-up. It has a small bock in it also (305). I have F & R Jaguar suspensions for it along with a BW super T-10. It will have the usual tilt; A/C; cruse; power windows & locks (also a power rear window). My third is a 1975 Super Beetle. I plan to take the body shell and transplant it onto a Porsche 924. Of course after I cut the body off of the Porsche. This 924 is beat up and the body is really not worth repairing. The Beetle and 924 have the same wheel base and track width. I will be scrapping th 924 engine and swapping in the motor that I took out of the 944.
I do all of my own work (body & paint; fabrication; transmissions; rear ends; etc.) with the exception of engine machining.
I haven't had much time lately due to moving into a bigger house, having 5 year old triplets, and my wife is going to school part time. Now that spring is comming I hope to get back to my projects.
