Hot Rod Young'n
Whats up everybody. My name is Joseph, im 23 and from NY...I currently have a 56' Ford F-100, which you can say has been modified "a little bit"...I got into Hot Rods a few years ago..When i was younger, i was into the whole import scene (which i still somewhat like)..Being a tall guy (6'8) i needed something big, which is how i ended up falling in love with trucks..Just something about seeing a layed out truck draggin ass across the pavement that i love..Plus all the custom work that goes into the frames to get some of these trucks to lay down amazed me..For there i ended up going even bigger and getting into hot rods..Hot rods are where its at...There is nothing more custom then a fully built hot rod, building it yourself from the frame up..You can truely say you built the car...Either way, unless i get some lessons and welding and everything else that comes along with building a hot rod, i have my 56' F-100 to show on the scene and across around in for now..Hope to mod this some more in the future...
Heres some pics..There are watermarks on them, to be honest i dont trust people on the internet much when it comes to pictures of cars. Ive seen a lot of people steal other peoples pictures and try to play it off like its their car...Uneekvisions is my website which is currently being developed...
Me driving the truck out of a show.
Just to let your imagination wonder how i fit in this truck..Im 6'8..Look at my height compared to this truck, which doesnt have a lot of leg room either..
And finally a pic i couldnt watermark really...These are my hidden grille lights. They are actually above where they actually appear to be. They just shine down at night to give the illusion like they are actually on the grille itself :squint:
Mods:
-Ford 351 Cleveland V8..Minor Cam work
-3 Speed Cruiseomatic Tranny...Yes its an auto :squint:
-4+ Inch Chop
-Channeled
-gran torino IFS setup
-Ford 9inch rear end with 4:11 gears
-275 tires on the rear..Nice burnouts
-Gas tank relocated to the rear, under the bed...Gas cap area filled in and smoothed out
-Frenched antenna
-Full tilt nose
-Custom black leather interior on the seat, doors and headliner.
-Custom Ford painting on the tailgate, also 1956 Ford F-100 painted under the hood on the firewall, as well as word Ford painted under the dash bezel.
-Roll pan
-Driving lights hidden above the grille under the hood
-Custom bezel to hold gauges for the oil, battery, and temp.
-Custom windows...cause of the chop of course..The wraparound windshield is one of my fav parts
-Along with a few other minor things that tend to skip my mind since there minor.

Hey Joseph, welcome to the board, that is one sweet truck, I like everything you have done to it! Your screen name cracked me up, and since you like trucks I thought I would include a couple pictures you might appreciate. I have no idea how he ever got that plate past the Nevada DMV! Hopefully the GM product won't offend you
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

hahahah...
Thats a bad ass truck...Im not loyal to just Fords...I like Chevys AND Fords and everything else pretty much...To be honest, i didnt do most of the work on the truck...I got it that way...Yea i know, that takes a lot of fun out of it ...But i had the chance to get the truck and yellow is my favorite color, so i just had to get it..I plan to modify it more though in the future, for example i wanna do some engine work, widen the rear fenders a lil, lower it more w/ possibly an air ride set up, get rid of the front bumper to smooth the front out, bucket seats with a custom center console, a decent stereo system, plus more...The truck was just my way to break into the hot rod scene, this is only my second season with the truck.

Welcome to CHR Joseph, great looking pickup. The rest of the mods you're contemplating sound good. Friend of my has a '54 with air ride on it, works great and looks awsome at the shows sitting there with the bottom an inch off the blacktop then goes down the road about the same height as yours. Doing a '71 pickup myself, not near as nice as yours (just a driver) but I did do the dash and console mods. Worked out very well.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Thanks guys...Let it be know, like i mentioned before, i DID NOT build this truck...It was just my way to break into the hot rod scene and meet the crowd...Wanna mod this a lil more and then hopefully go about building my own hot rod from the ground up...
I love trucks that are slammed...A lot of people tell me that i should raise my truck a lil higher cause they think its to low...Then when i tell them i wanna lower it more they are like "nooooo"...Oh well, to each their own right?...Just seeing a truck, something fairly big, laying on the ground just does something for me, i dunno...In the future i think i would like to try and build a 32 Ford Coupe or possibly a 56 Panel Truck, or a Suburban, or even the older Blazers...I like a lot of things, as im sure most of you do too lol..
But thanks for the welcomes once again..

haha
The engine looks awesome, I like the low intake. That'll be some eye candy when the hood is popped.
