Hey Slaughter, welcome to CHR. F-1's make a real nice project. I guess first thing I would work on is the suspension. There are numerous companies that make IFS kits for the front. On the rear, you could stick with the leaf springs, or go to coilovers. You could air bag the whole thing, too. The best first step is to decide the "look" you want the truck to have, then make a plan how best to achieve it and stay within whatever budget you have for the project. I usually "build" a project on paper long before I ever turn a wrench. Just my 2 cents worth.
