Hi from Scotland
Just thought I'd say hi, I'm currently just completing a build, a Chevy Corvette engine into a 1992 Nissan 200 SX, some will say this is Scralidge, but the Corvette was a right-off and the CA 18's in the Nissan are piles of junk, so I'm trying to get the best of both worlds a light powerful car, lol.
approx 500 hrs has gone into the build, which is fairly straight forward, and has passed its mot ( Government inspection to you guys), and is almost on the road.
Its running a 750 vac sec Holley, on a 350 1988 Corvette motor, a crane 284 cam, hedman headers, and a thm 200c thru to the Nissan axle.

Cool nice to have a brit...just kidding on here. Your Scottish through and through. I lived there for 2 years and I miss it so much. It is nice to see some one willing to build a car like that over there. I don't know how you passed your mot but hey good on yeah!!! I don't want to know how much your insurance will cost let alone how much it is for a liter of petrol. Last time I was there it was like .79 pents.
One last thing..who is leading the Scottish premier league in football?

Lol thx super dave,
Your questions answered;
I mot my own cars - I use a friends garage, and he signs the slip! not 100% legal, but it is probably over engineered at the mo!
Insurance - fully comp is just under £500.00 fully comp (around $850.00ish) and thats as a second car policy - I have an Audi S4 V8 as primary car.
Per litre is 83.9p for super, and 79.9p for regular. ( about $1.40 per litre for regular)
And Celtic at the last time I looked - but then I don't follow football (soccer)
