New to Hot Rods, but not cars
Hello fellow car nuts:
I just picked up my first car to make into a hot rod. It's a 34' plymouth coupe. It's rough ,but free. I'm going to put an early hemi nto it. I'm getting 52' 331 w/ 3spd manual trans. But, now a guy that deals w/ 50's mopars and may do some trading for other driveline options. my biggest problem is the frame! the original is gone and one that doesn't fit is under the car. I contacted a Co. from W.Virginia that deals with old plymouth and dodges(Ply-Do)and they build frames for mine. My question is this. Can I use a ford frame or chevy? trying to figure out the best and cheapest way to do this.
