Hello from the middle of nowhere

Greetings from the flat, brown half of Washington State. At least the cars don't rust out here. My driver is a 94 Caprice 9C1 (ex-cop car) with a leather Caddy interior and Smoothie II's.
The street rod project is a 54 Chev 5-window half-ton with a 283/ 350T/ JennyShifter. It needs a complete redo.
The other one is an unrestored 58 Edsel Pacer 2-door that ran when parked ten years ago. I have a 73 390 in the garage that is supposed to bolt right in.
Not enough time, never enough money. :(

Hey there Fuge from the WET side of Washington state, Welcome to CHR.
I come over to Pasco at least a couple times a year to work on friends stuff, and for the meets.
Maybe I'll catch up with ya over there sometime.


P.S. I like the Flamingo's nesting near the garage. LOL

The kennel is for whatever dogs we own at the time, currently a big red boxer-mix and a mystery shepard-mix pup.
That bumper is off a Matador. My friends give me a load of grief over that but I like it. I wanted something different from the stock one. I would like to narrow that bumper about 2", bob the ends, and powdercoat. The rear bumper is off a Pinto.

Not me. I'm 6-04, but "FUGE" is the Caprice's nickname, not mine, for "Freakin' Huge". I was a detective for about 5 years, but now I'm a patrol sergeant.

Welcome to CHR, Fuge. Very nice collection of rides and projects you have there. I sure would like to find an Edsel in that good of condition to add to my list of projects that will probably never get done before I tip over !!! Hope you enjoy your time here.

Jim Sibley: I work with Jim Raymond. He's from Deer Park and he's a street-rod guy. Huge guy (6-05, 300), about 45, nicknamed "Moose" in school. Anybody you know?
Guys, I figured this was a national forum but DAY-UM I see a lot of Pacific NW people in here. Very cool.
I'll be trying to stay safe out there tonight. It's New Year's Eve and Friday night and bad weather locally. If you guys are going out, drive the wife's import, not the good stuff! ;)
