I have a cuda with a 340 purple cam power disc brakes. Anyone have any info on low brake pressure, mainly at idle?

make sure the car is tuned well, IE good timing, idle speed, and idle mixture screws are adjusted correctly as well...the 340 repo cam shouldn't cause to low a vacuum on a 340 or 360...might on a 318, but I doubt it. Rule out an out an out vacuum leak as well, of course.

It'll take 17-18 inches of vacuum to operate power brakes properly. Anything less may require an accumulator such as 71 Demon suggested or an electric vacuum pump like Master Power Brakes offers.

what kind of problem are you having cuda? low vac. will give you a hard brake paddle, not a low one.
