Whats a decent asking price? 440

Thinking about selling my newly rebuilt 440. I'm asking opinions on a good selling price. Its a 1976 motorhome block bored .020. cast crank, Zollner flat top pistons, 906 heads with new valves, and harded seats installed. Has about 9.6-1 cr. Weiand action plus intake and holley 750dp with a proform center. Has a comp cam double roller chain tg, crane pushrods. hv oilpump with a 7 qt. pan. headers. The cam is a Chet Herbet 214/444. I found it n.o.s. on ebay. Its a great 0-4000 rpm cam. I have ran it in the truck for a total of about 1 hour since it was built. Not had it on the road yet. It sounds tight and VERY healthy. Holds 75 psi off oil pressure constantly. Has dual remote oil filters. Point distributor.I have pictures of it in my link below. I am thinking about changing over to a small block setup( chevy) to make the project easier to finish, and could really use the money as baby #2 is only a week or two off. Got an idea what shes worth? Would like to hear from ya.

Oh Dave I know! If I can't get a decent price for it, I won't part with it. I even got the 727 bolted to a amc short tail attached to a dana 300 transfer case! Its gonna be a stump puller no doubt! Just trying to get ahead on the bills and baby costs. Also like I was saying, a change in front end setups, (axle and running train) would simplify my build in the long run.

Engine looks good and it seems you have put it together well. Hard to put a number on it, but it will only cost you a little money to put it on Ebay and find out. Put a reserve on it that you can live with and see how it goes.

We've all been in the same boat financially as you and have done the same things to survive. Family obligations come first, and your day will come to do this all over again. Been there, done it a million times.

Just in case anyone is interested, I went to E-bay completed sales in their advanced search and found what comparable engines have been selling for. WOW! I found 3 that were at the $4000+ marker and SOLD. I have more in this engine that they had. So I guess we know now. Thanks. So you guys with the 440 mild BB mopars have an idea of what they are worth.
