    1967 Cobra

..Went to a good friends house last night for BBQ Moose Burgers. He told me that he wants to sell his 1967 Cobra with only 10,000 original miles. Not a factory original but not a kit, much better than a kit with many original Cobra parts. Due to an accident he has limited movement in his left arm so driving it is some what of a challenge. Those that know me know that I have had, driven and rode in some amazing fast cars including 60-70 Muscle Cars, new Generation Muscle Cars, Vettes, Porsches, etc. this is probably the fastest of them all. He is asking $55,000 for it. Description and pictures below.

    -1967 Cobra 427 with 485hp..weighs only 2200 lbs.
-427 is 1966 FE Solid Lifter with twin 650 Holly Carbs. This was a brand new Cobra 427 crate engine when installed.
-9" Ford 3.73 positraction staggered 4 link rear end.
    -10 bolt top loader 4speed.
-Shell Valley Carbon Fiber Body "1967" and square tube frame with Coil over rear suspension.
-66 Mustang rack and pinion front end.
-Lincoln Versic Disc Brakes all around
-glove box cover is signed by Carrol Shelby for its correctness.

I always laugh at Shelbys Glove box signing...My brother sent his GT-350 mustang clones glovebox door to Ol' Carrol Shelny back in 2006, along with his $60 fee to have it signed, came back with a signature and certificate of authenticty that he signed it also, had nothing to do with correctness he never saw the car, I guess its kinda hard to mail the hood!
Carrol Shelby pimped his signature for whoever had a extra buck, gave the money to charity he said.
Do your homework well on this one, its a common repoped car, like my '32 roadster, only worth as much as all the others that show up at the cruise night that look just like it just a different color combo, cool cars for sure, probably not bad on price if your going to build one but not a steal either, Almost all have a 427 in them or a 289 and done very close to original. Have fun but don't fall to hard for that signature!
Why is mine so big and yours so small, Chrysler FirePower
