1978 Ford Pinto Squire wagon with tons of turbo 2.3 stuff.

I'll separate my collection of turbo 2.3 stuff and Pinto parts before I budge on the price. I have since found another radiator with 2 10 inch cooling fans, another mustang ii console, another turbo 2.3 block with main caps, mustang ii rear sway bar, lightly ported stock valve turbo 2.3 head, ranger roller cam, large VAM from an SVO or late Turbocoupe and 5 35# injectors from an SVO or late Turbocoupe. I'm sure there is more lurking in the corners of the shop.

Also found a ported RFE6 turbo exhaust manifold. T3 3 inch down pipe for a fox body with the turbo 2.3. 2 total mechanical clutch bellhousings. 1 centerforce stage 2 clutch with under 5000 miles, 1 walbro 255 inline fuel pump. 1 new turbo 2.3 felpro head gasket. 1 new felpro turbo 2.3 rear main seal. Full custom exhaust from the brown pinto will also be included. 3.5 inch from the holset to right before the rear axle. It is straight piped and has a welded in 3.5 inch flex pipe.

Well, I sold my 74 hatch back and now its time for this 78 squire to go too. I drove the car home from southern Ohio about a year ago. I don't really want to get rid of it, but the recent purchase of a pair of 32 Fords swayed my interest a little and I need to make room.

Price is $5500. Why so much you ask? Included with the car is: new HD cooling radiator, new inner tie rod ends, 4 new tires, new radiator hoses, new timing belt, Mustang ii 8 inch rear axle, explorer limited slip 3.73 disc rear end, aerostar drive shaft, 2 4 banger T5 transmissions, one with a hurst shifter, Wilson Racing MS2 w/lap top, LC1 wide band, Mustang ii center console, 1 turbo coupe long block, 1 stock complete xr4ti motor/eec/harness, 1 complete turbo coupe motor w/big valves/boport1.9/95lb injectors/holset hy35/tial 44mm waiste gate/40bob knife edged and polished lower intake, extra drive shaft, C4 with 2.3 bell housing/flexplate, spearco intercooler, esslinger crank pulley, esslinger adjustable cam gear, ford motorsports a237, extra HLA's, extra roller followers, racer walsh (if I remember right) aluminum balance shaft pulley. There is most likely more.

The car itself is an AZ car with almost no rust and great patina, if your into that. It starts up right away but does need the parts listed before the mustang ii axle. It also needs a water pump. The car was rubbed out and the old paint shines good for what it is. The drivers seat bottom and head rests were re upholstered in the closest blue we could find, which isnt perfect. the carpet needs redone as does the dash pad. It is well optioned with the 2.3, 4 speed manual, PS, PB, rear defrost, AC and aluminum wheels. AC compressor turns on but does not blow real cold. Still set up for R12. Floors are real nice with the exception of some small holes on the one front floor board. I dont remember which side right now though. NO exterior rot. Some rot by the battery. No oil leaks, well, at least no oil leaks that leave a spot on my shop floor. Its old so I'm sure its seeping here and there. Clutch feels OK and trans shifts fine. Motor is quiet with no unusual noises or smoke.

I can replace all the parts for an agreed upon price. I can wire the car for EFI, rear end swap or any other hot rod stuff you may want at an extra cost. The 2 pics included are one of the blue wagon when i bought it, and the other is the built turbo 2.3 that was in my brown hatch.

Clear title in hand. And when I say "clear title in hand", I mean the car is in my name, has been registered, no liens and can be notorized into your name at the time of payment. NOT like those people who have "clear titles" which arent in their names, forged a friends signature or, kinda like a 34 ford pick up I looked at in July, doesnt match the vin number on the car.
With proper repairs done, I would trust this thing anywhere. But, I know its a 36 year old car and it may break down. I expect you to feel the same.
