Unfortunately, as a recent college graduate working for the state, I don't have the funding to keep/repair my 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass (4-door, Rocket 350). Alas, I am going to have to give up the car that has been my pride and joy (and my only form of transportation) since the day I turned 16.

Normally this wouldn't be an issue, as I've gotten some pretty high-dollar offers in the past, because she's a beautiful, clean, mostly-original car. However, I never sold her when I had the chance, mostly because I couldn't let go of the dream that someday I would have the money to really transform her into a hot rod.

My current complication is that, over the summer, I was in an accident with her. She sustained some body damage that I don't have the financial resources to repair. The body damage in and of itself wouldn't be a major problem, except that about a week after the accident, a radiator hose came loose, leaving me unable to drive her until I fix that. Unfortunately, due to the damage sustained in the accident, I can't seem to open the hood of the vehicle. As I don't have the money to get her towed to have the hood opened, and I myself don't have a comealong (I already tried a crowbar), she's just been sitting idly at my apartment complex for a few months now.

What I need to know, if anyone can recommend anything, is how I would go about selling a car (for more than a pittance) that I am unable to move and, therefore, have no way of proving how wonderfully she runs, and what an amazing car she really is.
As previously mentioned, she is a 1972 Olds Cutlass, Rocket 350, 4-door, 4-barrel Rochester carb, re-built transmission, original engine (approximately 130K), new brakes, fairly new tires, "mustard" colored gold paint on the body (recently re-painted matching the original color), white hard-top, etc...

If anyone has any advice, I would really appreciate it! And, NO, junking her is not an option! She's way too good for that, and someone with a love of Cutlasses could really turn her into an amazing street machine. I want her to go to someone who will really be able to give her the attention that she deserves.

Thanks!

(p.s. I am in the Austin, TX area.)
