This calendar car has the best of the best; the motor is rebuilt 350 SBC with a 282 comp cam with hyd lifters, new ceramic coated headers and turnouts,new billet flame valve covers and air cleaner. New chrome intake and carb, chrome one wire alternator, chrome water pump. You get the picture everything shines on this engine.The block and heads are painted. The tranny is 350 turbo W/Locar shifter. The rear end is a 8" Ford W/ 4 bar coil over suspention. The front end is all chrome W/GM disc brakes

The interior is tan diamond button tuck as well as the deck lid.

This car shows just as well as it runs 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.5 seconds and it has placed in every show I have entered it in. I will sell for $20,000 or trade for a 1930 to 1938 Ford coupe project car or un restored. I am also interested in this same area Plymouth or 34 Chevy coupe.

Gilbert is a suburb of Phoenix. Like many big cities it is surrounded by small towns Tempe, Mesa, and Chandler.

Thanks for your comments I worked very hard at the time of build on my car. The heat out here really drives you down. The winter is when we drive them and have our shows.

I don't know if you remember, but in the '70's sometime, Tex Smith did a treasure hunt kind of article in Rod and Custom entitled "Tex's lost tin mine" or something similar. Each month he would give clues as to where this town was that held tons of old cars just sitting waiting for someone to pick them up. Anyway, the town ended up being Chandler, I think, and your mentioning it brought that memory back. Is there still all of that old tin up there?


Really nice looking T. Last year at Daytonea, Orange was the new hot color, and looked great on all the cars sporting it.

Just kiding no offence ment. I do think roadsters look best without tops. The best I have seen is a 37 Ford with a hard top that looked better than a coupe. Just my opine. Send me your E mail I will send pics

Roadsters, T's, and sprint cars should always remain topless..... When you put a roof (or a wing) on them they became phaetons, cabriolets, or convertibles and sprint cars becom winged sprint cars with lots of advertising space for rent. Topless women are nothing more then a distraction....... JMO's
