1957 2Dr Street Rod
I am listing this for my dad with the information straight off the appraiser’s deck sheet. This is from 7/21/2005
The odometer indicates 2602 miles since restoration. (Now about 3300 4/5/07) The options include: v-8 (350 cid) 350hp, automatic (T-350), power steering, power disk breaks front and rear, air conditioning, super stereo with amp, special speakers etc., engine chrome package, custom seats, premium wheels, tilt wheel, digital dash, power windows and tinted glass.
The body and paint are excellent condition. The chrome is all new or polished to like new. I see minor paint chips etc. The interior is custom and is in excellent condition. The glass is also excellent and the tires look new. The tires are a high performance Yokohoma AVS tire and of high quality.
The car runs and drives great and is in excellent condition. The restoration included a new 350 cid crate engine with a fresh transmission and rear end which is chromed to a very high degree. The restoration included all the extra accessories including a Mallory distributor, stainless exhaust; powder coated frame, custom air suspension headers custom radiator and much more.
The 57 Chevys are probably the most popular American car today. The 2dr. hardtops are one of the most sought after models. The car has been showed at car shows but has never been judged. I would value this car at $50,950 retail value.
