Today the conversation went to turning one of these 'glass bodied Mercs into a removable hardtop.... Any thoughts on it? Wouldn't be all that tough to do, wonder how it would look???? Or would it be better with bows and a soft top?Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Na, you got to find some '58 Ford hard top convertible parts and put it togther as a convertible hard top. nothing like bringing back a thing of the past. I see VW has a new 2008 model I think that has a convertible hard top option, tho it needs a seperate ECU just for the mechanism.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
