1939 GMC PICK UP
RESTORATION just completed in 2005 .....1939 GMC Shortbed stepside Street Rod Pick-Up Truck. It is ALL STEEL and almost all original sheet metal!. This truck has not been chopped or channeled. It has a FATMAN Front end, w/ tubular A arms, chrome coils, Rack & Pinion steering. The rear end is a Ford 9" 3.25 ratio with Wilwood rear disc brakes.
The wheels are 17" billet specialties with custom offset ( rear 17 x 11 ). The Engine is a Chevy 388ci Stroker with shorty headers and dual exhaust that exit before the rear tires, sounds awesome. The truck has a brand new Walker radiator, that keeps it nice and cool. The transmission is a Turbo 350 also a custom-built 17-gallon fuel cell resides under the custom metal bed floor.
The interior is all new with custom door panels with the old GMC logo on them, the seat has been completely rebuilt and recovered in black and gray. It has a GM tilt column with a steering wheel that matches the wheels, the stock gauges have been rebuilt and made to work with 12 volts. There is a CD player in the glove box, Windshield still cranks out & cowl vent open too . All the windows have been tinted, and the headliner is completely finished in gray cloth.
Professionally Built With The Utmost Care And Quality Of A Rare And Unusual finds in trucks.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
