1948 Fiat 500 Topolino
Up for sale is a 1948 Fiat Topolino, all steel stock body(80" wheelbase) streetrod. It is powered by a '57 Chrysler 392 Hemi.
Toploader Ford 4-speed trans, Dana 60 4.11 power-lok. It sits on a Art Morrison frame and ladderbar rear suspension, a TCI custom IFS front end w/sweet rack&pinion. It stops with Willwood discs on all corners. American magnesium 5 spoke rims on the rear (10x15), American magnesium 12 spoke on the front with custom disc adapters. This car was featured in the April 2002 Southern Rodder magazine. The Hemi is warmed over with an Isky 550 Magnum roller cam, it is bored .060, the heads are ported and polished. A weiand 2x4 intake w/carter afb's mix the fuel and air. A Chrysler electronic distributor lites the fire. A 340 hp oil pump and a custom gated 8 qt. oil pan keep things lubed.
