I still got the '83 240D, hopefully the parts my dad dosn't take ( grille, hood maby and both bumpers, headlight assemblies ) should bring a good dollar when I attempt to sell them, parts new arn't cheap. That 450 has almost the exzact same body as mine, and it's even 9 years older than mine. I dug out a big pile of snow today, I found my Falcon in itOriginally posted by Streets
Matt167 REALLY NEEDS that Car....
Really, I just cleaned it off so, I can drive it when I get it registered on thursday. I thought my mercedes was too nice to let go to the crusher, that's actully why I bought it, my dad bought it for parts for his '83 4spd car, he was going to strip it of parts and then have it crushed, when we went to pick it up, the body wasn't too bad, the jack holes had the usual rust that most do ( my dad's dosn't ) but, it ran good, did smoke a lot though. I bought the car just after my dad removed the head as the 1 on his car cracked, my intentions were to drop a Chevy 350 with an automatic in it, the complications of the build built up and up and now, the car is headed for the crusher some time in the spring.
You don't know what you've got til it's gone
