Tonight I just read about these places.Seems they take your bill of sale and buy it from you,register it,sell it back to you with a title.All on paper.......$175.00
This is really crappy,for the rod builder.Guess it's the states way of killing off older cars!They don't like us ressurecting these babys.They want ya in a micro-chipped econo box they can Track,and run down easy.;)
Theres a reason for that. We all have to live by the rules of the hippies that came before us! It seems to me that if older cars are the minority, wouldnt it make more sense to just let them go, support the economy by buying performance parts and paying for racing liscences? Or is it just me?
The guy I bought the Falcon from said I needed the trace of the vin on the drivers side front door. I called the local DMV and asked them how and if it was possible to register, they said with the right paperwork although, 1 of those papers probably asks for a paper trace of the serial number or vin number. I didn't know about those titiling companies.Quote:

I registered my 49ply here in ND with a notorized bill of sale, The DMV had the proper bill of sales they want used, then just had to have a trooper come over and verify the cars condition poor good or excellent and the VIN numbers on the door and I was able to get a title for $12.
