Ok so we all undestand anything that creates a noise and or movment is bound to break, blow, or go clankity clank.

But what gets me is the things people do intentionaly, and then drive, my point being recently picked up a 1972 chevy c-10, had a few issues, no prob, but the further i dig, the worse i want to slap the hell out of the last owner.

1. Taillights not working, hmmmm wiring cut under bed, why u ask? me too... welp appears the PO, ( previous owner) had a problem with the brake light switch, so they replaced it, hmmm. now the brake lights stay on all the time, could it be the switch, nooo, hmm maybe he put it in wrong, hellll no, just cut the whole damn harness ( wrong switch)

2. Hard to start, just cranks and cranks, but then i notice, when you let go of the key, vrrooooooommmm. hmmmm, doesn't start while cranking, hmmmm P.O. put in hei setup, hmmmm where to get power, lets tap into the starter circut with a blue squeeze connector. so that while the starter is cranking, the voltage to the hei will drop to 2 volts.

3. Brakes making funny noise, hmm it needs brakes, the PO must have done rear brakes and had some trouble with the return springs, so, do we ask for help, buy a tool, nooooooo. we will just throw these thing away, it didn't really need em any way.

4. lets put a different t-350 tranny in it, well i gots me one from a van, so we will put it in, leave the dipstick tube running across the motor and set it on top of the alternator. the fireworks show was pretty.

5. Hmmm the transmission doesn't line up, well these little rubber thingys that hold it don't fit either, toss em, we don't need em anyway.

6. Lets put a z-gate shifter in it, wow that was easy, but them bastards wanted $7.50 for an adapter plate, i'll show them i will weld the cable right to this here wobble socket, the weld the wobble socket to the trans shift rod, there we go, hmmm wonder why when i pull the shifter all the way back, i only get drive, oh well lets go cruisin.

It amazes me this guy drove this thing. don't get me wrong i got a good price on the truck, and i knew it had some issue but, every where i look now its more and more. i wasn't expecting to be repairing 8 million things this guy fixxed real good.

Moral of this story, if you get rid of a car, and you have done this crap to it, DON"T LEAVE your registration with your address on it in the glove box, one night i may find somethig that pushes me over the edge. POST YOUR HORROR STORYS!!!!! i am sure mine will continue.
