I took a perfectly nice looking model A, and turned it into
my "once in a lifetime" hot-rod. Here's the before and after
pics. :) ....(it's almost finished)
....before.
....after....:D I have a trick "lakes style" exhaust going on.
....before. It was a nice looking car, but....
....beauty is only skin deep. ( underneath it was junk  )
....after. :D
Here's the back of the old dashboard. It didn't have
a speedo....but it did have a tach that didn't work. No gas
guage either. I "cut" the whole mess out, and junked it.
Here's the new and improved dash. A "Wabbit" full dash insert
with burlwood, and Ford racing instruments. I'm using a wood
banjo steering wheel, and a plain Limeworks steering coloum.
I'm using the nostalgia floor shifter (automatic C-4) and a small
hand-brake, and a new Panasonic CD radio. The kick panels
are the old ones....in place just to hear the radio. :D
That's a nice looking dash. I'm surprised anything worked with that wiring rats nest you had.
Thats a good lookin A. Are you using anything to seal your doors? I see you have nothing in there at present.
Good lookin A, The dash is way new and improved!!!!! Sounds like you put the old dash were it belonged.....
Nice job on a nice looking A.
How about a genuine Ford engine....'65 289 c.i. :D
Stock block, with the Edlebrock manifold, carb, and air cleaner.
Sanderson aluminum block hugger headers.
Here's the before shot of the engine....same one. The car had
the stock style wood firewall, and floorboards. :(
Nice seat:LOL:   (it's the same one I currently have in my 57 Plymouth:CRY:  ).
Very nice work all the way around.
I have the correct "D shaped" hollow rubber door seals for it.Quote:

That will be about the last step to completion. :D
Daver. :)
Check out this crazy exhaust system. It uses all stainless,
3'' throughout. Flexible running out from under the car, to
a straight through truck racing muffler, and out the back
through a marine pipe, right through the rear fender. :D
It sounds perfect, not too loud, but "hot-roddy". :D
Daver.
