Great response Bob.
Something else to think about. Bob mentions the price difference with Chevy's and Fords. When it comes time to replace parts on a Ford or Chevy, there everywhere. Not so with the other makes. Take it from me, finding the right parts for my 39 Chrysler isn't always easy, and when I do find them, they're always more expensive than Ford/Chevy parts. Finding Plymouth parts is getting easier though.
On the other hand, it's a great feeling knowing that when I'm done I'll have a rod like nobody else. (only 4780 Chrsyler Coupes made in 1939).
Just remember...dogs chase cars, but when they catch 'em, they can't drive.
