International R 110
I came across a salvage yard around here that has a old International R110. It seems pretty solid except for some surface rust. Does anyone know anything about these trucks? How hard are extra parts to come by. In what neighborhood should I expect to pay for this from a auto recycler? Thanks

Find A Club
You can find a club that specializes in just about anything. Along with the internet, I'd get a copy of the latest Hmmings Motor News and search for a club specific to International Harvester.
With these trucks being orphans, you'll have the same problem as someone rebuilding a Studebaker or Hudson. Not impossible, but patience is the price of having something different.
That truck, as long as all of it is there, is probably worth between $1000 and $3500 depending on it's condition.

I don't know the year yet (will call the place tommorow) but it is a short bed step side. I am not sure if there is an engine in it but if there is and it doesn't run I will put a SB Chevy.

A INTERNATIONAL IS NOT HARD TO FIND PART'S FOR I CAN GET ANY PART THAT I WON'T TWO FOR MY TRUCK AND IT IS A 345 AND I WOULD'NT REPLACE IT WITH A NOTHER ENGINE IF U GAVE ME A MILLION DOLLARS I HAVE EVEN FOUND COMPLET ENGIN'S FOR THEM AND IF IT IS A 60-68 IT IS WORTH IN GOOD CONDITION AT LEAST 5000$ BUT IF IT IS IN A JUNK YARD AND THE PAINT IS FAIDED YOU SHOLD BE ABLE TO GET IT FROM 100$ TO 600$ AND IT IS WHORH IT IF U LIKE INTERNATIONAL'S
-

If I was going to guess a year it would be late 40's or early to mid 50's 1/2 ton. The paint is still there in some places but there is a lot of surface rust, nothing a sand blasting wouldn't take care of. The bottom of the bed is almost gone so I would have to replace that but it doesn't bother me cause I'm looking to so work on something. I just said that about a SB Chevy because of the availability and good deals that I can get on some around here. Thanks for all the info you all!!!!

WELL IF IT WAS THAT OLD THEN U MITE NOT FIND ANY PARTS FOR IT AND IF IT WAS LOCKED UP I WOULD PUT A SMALLBLOCK CHEVY INIT
