So is it somth'N like this ?
:D
Ok I like the bottom one! Thanks Treekiller for the preview that's great. Now I'm not sure what to do again  I saw an older one yesterday I think it was about a 68? It was all black with chrome wheels and it looked pretty cool. Body wasnt completely straight and looked like it had alot of Bondo in it but it sounded good.
How about this?
Try again
I personally don't think you can go wrong with white and chrome or,........ black and chrome .......... " Nice bRight ChRomE" :D
HA! what ever floats your boat ! it's your ride....
"as long as your still having fun w/it.... "
"but that's just my opinion" :D
I know (since you guy's wont say it) the Gold Wheels are too much so I'm gonna go with chrome. The shock factor just kind of appealed to me. :whacked: The amount of $h!t my buddies would have given me would still be worth it just for the greif they would be try'n to give me. I saw my car's twin on the way home from work last night sitting out front of a shabby look'n Hotel. You could see that thing from a mile away. It was electric blue with all Gold wheels, couldnt miss it. I all most stopped but figured that probably wasnt the best place to be hanging out if ya know what I mean. :cool:Quote:

Far from a tuner  , I woulden't build somtin I woulden't drive ( signature says it all ), the only thing that may be a little ricey is the green lights behind the grille which are staying but, I'm wiring them to a switch so there not on all the time, gots nowhere else to put them, heck, I'll go out tonight and post a pic of what they look like on. I was thinking of wiring them to the horn also or maby I'll wire them into the blinkers with a switch so they dont come on with the blinkers unless the switch is on. heres my '51 for JCT400SB it's way outdated but, I got new pics but got to get them off the diggy cam.Quote:

heres the updated pic
Nice ride Matt, I'd say that's not even close to a Tuner. Ya got your work cut out for yourself. Have ya figured out what you want to do with it? Leave it Classic Original or go for a Hot Rod look? I threw this thread up here half serious, half joking to see if I could get a rise or different opinion. Sometimes people can see what you can't and you can find a better direction. I guess I should have title the thread "What would you do" but I thought Pimpala would get more interest. I got a few ideas just from playing with the pictures Treekiller put up. Thanks for posting the pics. :)
I dont think this is what you had in mind but:LOL:
 . Now that's some think'n outside the box. Could we start a CHR 4x4 forum for that one. **)
I'm going to hot rod my car but leave the original feel by leaving the hood ornaments and keeping the original steering, entier drivetrain and steering wheel but, I will eventully recover the seats in vynal and get new door panals and headliner to match and I'm going to paint it a purpalish color ( maby red with a purple tint ) . I'm even keeping the 6 volt system. The 4X4 Impala would not be hard at all, just mount it on a 4X4 truck frame from the 70's with drive lines and suspension there, because the truck is probably around the same wheelbase and only about 400 lbs heavier or lighter ( depends on the year impala ), the '81 4dr parts car I had, had a sticker that said 3400 lbs and a truck would be around 3500-3800 lbs so suspension would be easy, it'd be diffrent and eye catching but it's all on what you want to do with it
