I am not sure what u got goin with the steering but whatever is goin to be welded have it done by a pro, try to get some sort of adapter, but I would not rig or make work anything to do with the steering have it done right or get the right parts, steering is fairly important. rig the radio rig the seat even rig the rig but not the steering or brakes some things are maditory to do correctly others such as motor and brand and style is all up to u!..I just caught the fact u said pitman arm...edit (under no circumstances do u want to weld bend modify anything to do with the pitman arm u should modify a plate to move the box to the correct location i.e down ,forward whatever the case may be ,simply bolt a plate to the frame as needed then connect the box correctly and mark and drill the holes for the new box drill and remount then check it twice for movement and binding! hint leave plate big then trim after fitting and markin, plate should be fairly thick 3/8 to 1/2 , this (may)work and is only a sugestion as u should fully understand front end geometry and steering that results from poor geometry, since ur only mod is box replacement if fully secured and able to move completely from 1 side to the other it should work ..I think techinspector understands this stuff real good he may have a better suggestion.
