Brickman, what anti vapor lock? I didn't know that had a purpose so I pulled it off , I knew the former owner put it there but didn't know what it did. Could it be related to my fuel problem with the fuel filter not staying full, it kind of stays half full untill the engine get's hot then it emties and dosen't refill until the engine cools off and is restarted ( it kinda seems this way ) , then it goes back to half full, could the tin foil could have been a quick remady?, we never ran the engine with the foil there. I'll put some more foil there if it would help it.Quote:

You bet Mat, in the older cars the steel fuel lines would get hot and boil the gas making it hard to pump. People used to put on tin foil or many clothes pins to act as a heat sink to disapate the heat off of the line. You can also put new rubber line or aircraft line to keep it down. You may think I'm crazy but I know if you put the foil back on, with the shinny side, out it will help.:D :D
thanks for showing me the photos guys
cool, I'll wrap it back up, shiney side out.Quote:
