Well i made some good use of the long 3 day weekend finally got the motor plates fabbed up and welded in and also got the sterring and the guages in...now i can sit in it and make motor nosies while hangin on to the wheel!:LOL: :LOL:

Did ya polish your motor plates like you were going to? I made progress on the Chevy, I got the exzaust on, I went 2" with a Thrush glasspack. I painted all my exzaust tubing red with heat paint (1200 deg ) to match the glasspack and to help in rust prevention.Quote:

I'm waiting till next week to polish the plate because i have a shop that is going to mill 540 GTO into the plate with a 3/8 end mill so i figure i'll wait till i get it back from them to do the polishing so it dosen't get scratched up during the milling process.
Got some pics of the plates and int work i did but cant seem to get the pics posted for some reason:confused:

Sounds good man. I liked what I saw so far on that car with the frame and all. Can't wait to see it when it's all done.
