Money is still pretty tight with all the repairs I'm having to do to our home-that and Uncle Sam took a really big bite this year.
I'm still acquiring parts, tools and knowledge (pracitcing on spare parts) but it's going painfully slow.
AbeTechnology is the answer.

Just got back from the Mid-America nationals and was that really fun! I loved being surrounded by street rods! It doesn't get any better! I found out my front end is out of balance and my carb is acting up. I have different tires to put on and bought a new holley 600 carb, running like a top now NTFDay, it is finally truely a joy to drive. New blue dot taillights, valve covers bolts(no more twist down leakers), and fan shroud. It did excellent except in heavy traffic she got up to around 210 so a shroud should take care of that. Slowly getting the bugs worked out."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

Brick, I'm glad that you got the carb problem fixed. Sure wish that we lived closer as I'm certain I could have figured out the Edelbrock for you, but I think you'll be happier with the Holley anyway.
As I mentioned to you I took my grandson to the drags at Topeka Sunday and Scott Palmer let him sit in his Top Fueler and I got a couple of pictures. That was worth the price of admission by itself.

Brickman, I am learning from your experiences and wonder if there is some place that makes up radiator shrouds for common radiators? Since I am running a very small cam I am considering running a high flow water pump on my 355 and just using a flex fan on a stock shape aftermarket '29 Ford radiator with just a flex fan? Maybe if I had a shroud around the flex fan that would be enough?

1951 Chevy update
I took my stock 51 Chevy 2-door post apart about 4 weeks ago. I the past 3 weekends I have added a Chassis Engineering IFS with 2" drop spindles, Disc brakes, and a flammimg river manual rack. Also added a Tilt steering column and a Billet steering wheel.
In the next couple of weeks I'll be installing a 350 V-8, Turbo 350 Trany with Walton Fabrication crossmember, New 4-core radiator, 10-Bolt Posi rearend, and a Walton Fabrication Power Brake set-up.
I'm sure there will be more stuff too.

Well I put pictures of the Caravan seat in an old thread and it vanished with no response, but I was still able to summon up the old thread which is now misnamed about the end of last years rod season when it really turned out to be about how to install a Caravan middle seat in a Model-A roadster. So here is a mockup of the seat in my '29. Is it too high for a 2" chopped windshield? The wooden blocks total 4 1/2" but I can use the stock retractable seatbelts if I leave it at that height.

Got the intercooler mounted finally.
I bent some aluminum strap & made 4 mounts & welded them to the cooler. I probably should have started on somethin' else as my first
aluminum welding project. Oh well, It looks like it'll hold.

I didn't want to solid mount it so I put rubber grommets in them with steel sleeves so I can torque the bold down with squashin' the little buggers.

Got the cold side plumbed to the plastic carb.

If I can get it in N' out without the boot through the firewall I'll weld the 2 pcs. together so I can put a clean lookin' grommet on the firewall.

Hey guys;
I finally got some pictures developed of the frame I’m building.
It’s not done yet, if I could stay out of the hospital long enough
I might just get it finished.
My grandmother passed this morning so I’ll have to spend the
next week up in Ohio. She died exactly 24 years to the day as
my Father. My Father died Nov. 23, 1984.
My Father was 54 and Grandmother was 90 years old on nov. 11.
Anyway you can see where my Project is. Kurt
