Looking at a 79 Nova right now. 305, 82K, new exhaust, good tires, 200$. Shows potential. Not surprisingly though, lifter tick. Im currently working on winterizing the fleet with the usual. Tune up, glycol flush, oil change, front end lube, alignment, tire rotation ect. Also finalising all of the bodywork on the Eagle. Let It SNOW!! HAHAHAHAHA!Right engine, Wrong Wheels

What's next?
Well it's been a busy summer for me. I repainted the Bently and the 69 Cadillac. I also rebulit my wrecked Porsche 924S. After several engine swaps the old Bluesmobile is running like a top. After all the work I put into it I realized it was a waste of time. It's a Chevy and I'm a Ford man. I got more money into the 88 Caprice than it's worth. The time and money I spent on It could have been used to get my 65 Mustang fastback finished.
So a couple of weeks ago I took the stang out of the storage garage and pushed it into the body shop. I got the engine compartment stipped to bare metal and repainted it semi-gloss black. I got most of the bodywork done and finished welding in the new floors. I still have to strip the headlight assemblies and the quarter vents and go over some of the repairs with spot putty. I had to remove the glass to change the headliner and it also makes it easier to get to the rust. I'm hoping to have a warm enough day to paint it in the next week or so but 70 degree days are getting scarce up here and it's still not ready.
I was suprised to see Boyd working on the same thing on his TV show last week. He'll probably finish it on this weeks show. I don't have his crew and resourses so I might take a while longer.
Here's a picture of where I'm at right now." Im gone'

Good to have ya back brick. I was worried you'd done something rash after the election results came in.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

I should have put my report here, but I was excited and put it on a separate thread called "I ain't got no body". The pictures on the first page were too small but I reposted a few in larger form on later pages. The first page is still there, but pages 2,3 and 4 seem to be gone, what happened to the later pages? Anyway I got a lot of help from York Sports Cars and gave them credit for the work. Some folks objected to giving credit to a commercial shop but my reply is that my engine block has GM cast into it and the intake manifold says Edelbrock, so what is the problem with giving credit where it's due? Anyway the valve covers are "noname". I hope to get a body this Spring.

everyones rides are looking fantastic
I managed to survive the election Bob, thanks for your concernI'm glad it's over to speak the truth.
Thanks Hambisket, it's good to be here. It is really good to be working on the ol' Cheby again thats for sure.
Thats a wicked window edge jdhogg, it is surely going to take some time to rebuild but it will work.
Where's the glass? Where is the glass? This is the question everyone is asking? J/K Pro70, I hope that you have gotten it by now, I know how you feel. I have been waiting for a motor rebuild for 6 months. Go figure huh? I WILL be on his a$$ now that I am on my feet you can bet on that.
My car is getting wired right now, chassis is pretty much done except for the ENGINE!! We have started on the interior and the two kick panels are done along with one door panel and one rear panel. New '91 mustang seats, console and shifter are also getting put in. As soon as it warms up(17 degrees here) it will get painted."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"
