Hi,
Just wanted to know whether its legal to drive such beautiful HotRods that draw attention (and the police) on the roads?
Taking about stuff like the Grandmaster that was sort of built from scratch and has an odd bodyshape...
Thanx

There are a lot of unusual and great looking/custom built vehicles on the road. As long as the car passes safety inspection, you have a license and obey the traffic laws it's legal."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
"LIVE" your life like you could die tomorrow.

For you guys who say there's no such thing as a stupid question this is the exception to the rule.
Q Are hot rods legal to drive on the roads?
A Yes. If it was illegal they wouldn't be driven on the roads.
As far as cops are concerned they seem to like them and appreciate the amount of work that goes into building them. There's no standard for body shapes on the books.
I got stopped by a state cop when I was test driving a customized 47 Ford pickup that was unregistered since 1970. He let me go with a warning and I drove it back home. That same year I got three speeding tickets in my Porsche for going slightly over the limit.
You Ferrari lovers probably would get more. Building a fast car earns you more respect than if you buy a fast car and go street racing.
