429 1967 Caddy motor into 1950 Chevy P/U ?
I have a 50 chevy P/U and currently have a 216 in it.
I want to put a 350 block in it in the future.
I already have a 350 turbo tranny and a lockerspool rearend out of a 70 camero. But I have a friend who is practically giving me a 429 out of a 67 Cadillac devile.
Will it work?
Is it to much to mess with to make it work?
Any opinions or comments on subject?

You will need the Caddy tranny too. Might be a bit wide for your chassis..............Home Handyman Forum

thanks to replys,
I found out tonight that 350 trans wont match up with 429 so the problem will be locating those parts listed by techinspector 1
My friends caddy is in good shape and has a 472 in it and the 429 is an extra motor when he bought the car.
Thanks again

If you can't find a 400 trans, you could still use your 350 (if it has been beefed up or if you have a light foot) by using an adapter plate. They are not that expensive. May have to redrill the flexplate to fit the t-converter.
