Just got a notice from the Club that I have been missed....

Even though it's a computer generated email, it did make me curious to check back in to see whats up. I guess it has been several years since I last posted here. I have been thru many different cars and hot rods in that time. Lets just skip forward to today. My current projects are a 51 Chevy Bel Air that has a Camaro front sub frame and the usual 350/350 drive line. Need paint and ALL of the interior. My second and favorite project I just purchased last week from an estate sale. A 37/38 Chevy gasser that has been in storage since the mid 70's. This one has always been a dream car of mine. I plan on building it as a survivor Gasser. Only gonna fix what needs fixn, sand an buff paint and some new wheels/tires. Oh....its missing the eng/trans so theres that also...lol Heres a few pics of both projects.

Believe it or not, it was listed on FB market place and I made an immediate offer and it was accepted and the ad removed. I feel like I got a great deal on it. The story behind it is the father purchased it back in '76 and started building it as a Gasser. He soon lost interest in it for one reason or another and it sat in storage since the late 70's. Came with clear title. No eng/trans. but has a chevy rear with posi and what best I can figure are 3:73 gears. Im converting the front brakes to disc, but leaving pretty much everything else as is. Steering is original and tight. Some one took the ladder bars but brackets are still there so I will have to weld up some new ones. Has plexiglass side windows but the original cranks came with the car along with many other spare parts. So I will be removing the plexiglass and installing safety glass. Already ordered new Torq thrust 15x8 and 15x4 wheels and pie crust cheater slicks. Really excited about this build! Really a lot of fun building two projects at once!
