Baked?? Do tell.
I use a panel light (short wave infra red) to cure the paint. Even with activated paint, the infra red heat cures it faster, harder, better.
Does that work different than say my infrared propane heater?
Pretty much the same thing, except for the light it emmets. The panel light will give you a nice sunburn, lol.
Just about finished;
Very sharp!
My latest creation to protect me and my bandmates, it works great is easy to make and you're welcome to use it;
Here's a picture of the mic shields installed.
Good idea.
Since I've been stuck at home more I decided to play around with computer based recording. Downloaded Cakewalk DAW and a bunch of plugins. I've been having a ball with it. Of course it started with some free downloads and I think my current tally is close to 2K (gotta have a new killer computer right?, midi guitar pickup, audio interface, bass, drum software etc.)

Yes, that's the one.
So sorry.
I did not see your post earlier.
Work schedule has left me little extra time.
All good - I know all about the work schedule/loading.. Like I said earlier - just have fun with it. If it gets old and boring, set it aside and then come back when you can enjoy it again. That's what I have to do. I picked it up 'cause I wanted to quit smoking and needed to stay busy. And I actually find the experience enjoyable, I can be secluded or hanging with friends with like interests and just make noise if we want. But sometimes I just need to walk away from it for some reason. Then I'll drift back and start all over again! LOL..
The other day I was installing an input jack in an acoustic guitar where it was impossible to reach the jack through the sound hole, and it reminded me of a few tools I've made over the years for doing such tasks. So I combined my notes and thought I'd share (a couple of them actually help with our cars).
Thanks. I downloaded / saved & printed it.
Here's a tool for guitar kit builders;
Another slick idea! Thanks for sharing it.
