The coolest salad bar in Des Moines, IA
Yesterday was my wife's birthday and we went to a restaurant shes always wanted to eat at but never has. Its just down from the court house on Court Ave in Des Moines and is a very nice old building. We walk in the door and I see an old truck. It's a 1916-25 Republic truck that holds their salad bar. How awesome! On top of that half way through the meal I hear a very faint squeaking. I look up and all the ceiling fans are driven by leather belts! Mike, I first thought of you! How cool are these things! People were looking at me taking pictures like I had a screw loose.
I suppose I do haha
