Very cool! That last pic does bring back memories for me. Although I wasn't in high school in the 80s, the 80s cars were really popular. A lot of my friends had Irocs, T/A's and Monte SS's. My boss's son had a 83 Crossfire 305 Camaro that Russ dumped $20k in so his kid could destroy it all the time. The only cool thing besides the gauges on that car stock was the functional hood scoop IMO.
When it was running good, it did run hard. Supposedly the engine made 450hp on the builder's dyno back then but who really knows.
