ok i got this steering box off ebay came off a ford 1 ton or larger truck..works the same as a reversed corvair box. it turns well when not hooked uo.when i hook up the drag link to the front wheels it doesnt turn but the bar that holds the pitman arm trys to tilt to bend.... it does turn but only using 2 hands very hard, also will turn 3 times before moving the pitman arm either right or left.. this is a lot bigger then a standard size covair box. my uncle says its because the gear ratio is wrong i thought bigger was better but not this time.
