Never have been enough big block cars running at the nostalgia road race events Bill, any plans to go out and play with the other kids sometime?
I have done many road race events, rarely in a BB. At a SAAC event, absolutely this car will be on the track. For other events, I use my BB ERA Cobra replica as it handles better than the GT500 (at least in it's current stock form).Quote:

After driving it 285 miles this weekend, new shocks (34 year old ones squeak), new front dash speaker (wife blew the original trying to drowned out the shock squeak :D ), a rebuilt power steering box (old box has been adjusted as best as possible already), and a return to the stock crossover muffler exhaust (at 70-80 miles an hour for long periods of time I got a headache in the enclosed cockpit environment).Quote:

Congrats Bill! If those Webers performed as good as they looked on an engine, Holley would be out of business!!!!! Besides snagging a trophy, had to of been a good shakedown run for the Shelby!!
