1930 Chevy Dash
I have a 1930 Chevy dash that I bought a while back and have started to sand and prime it as it is in good shape. The top of the dash is flat, but I noticed when looking at the bottom edge, the drivers side appears to crown, or bow, outward from the steering column mount to the gauge area. It does not appear to have been damaged any where and has no creases or dings.
Can anyone tell me if the contour is original?

I really don't know about the dash but since I was curious I googled and found this which I think says it's a '30 Chevy Model A dash. Does yours look like this but with a bowed area?
Btw, hello and welcome to the CHR forum. There's probably many many "Mt. Pleasant" so what part to the world are you from?

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
