IFS or NO??
Does a 2wd '53 Chevy truck have IFS? I would think it does, but if so, why do soo many people graft on a later-model sub frame?
Also, are the trans. in these syncronized? I think not, but i'm not sure?
I ask because I know of one for sale, but want to learn more about them before I check it out. I'm new to 50's era cars.

Leaf springs and beam axle in the front, non synchro first. (unless the others are worn out too)Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
