Fun in the snow with a classic car

I bought used tires off a Crown Vic for my '51 Chevy which happened to be like new snow tires. Today shoveling and snowblowing over 2' of snow I decided to take a few mins and dig the old '51 Chevy out ( sadly it's been sitting out since the boat took it's spot inside ).. Pulled it off the float charger, turned the key and hit the button and it almost instantly came to life and the idle smoothed out very quick.. After a couple mins, I pulled the choke back all the way, and it was running perfect. So I figured it was a great day to go for a spin.. Drifting that thing around a sharp bend is fun as hell. It does not lack power or control/ balance to do it either.. I only lost it once , and ended up spinning out, but I backed up and turned around. It wasn't the cars fault, I was too far into the gas and didn't back out quick enough.. Only damage is a scratch that I put in it from rubbing a snowbank. Friend of mine had his truck and tractor double parked on the narrow road I was on, and to squeeze by the tractor I had to get into the snowbank a little

good thing I had seat belts---one night had to take them out and hook together to lengthen barn hay lift rope to get towed out of the field back to the pavement-------

Lol, that was the reason I pushed the car as hard as I did. I knew that my friend was right down the road and could tow me if I got stuck. I thought for sure that I was gonna end up full on in the ditch when the rear came around on me.. I don't think I ever pushed it over 40 MPH, but it was fun
