Roadside find- '60 Buick Lesabre
So it's my day off and my neighbor needed a ride up to a repair shop way up in the sticks to pick up her car.. I have lived in this area all my life, but only went up that road with my dad as a kid a couple of times. Right by the old hanger to the now closed independent ( very small ) Airport I spotted a '60 Buick, 4dr and pretty sure it's a Lesabre, but it looks in good shape. I didn't stop and look because I had to take her up and follow her back. It's also only a 10 min drive from my house..
If I were able to obtain this car, what would a fair price be? It probably has not moved in 20 years, and it's grown up quite a bit, but the car is still clearly visable. paint looks decent enough that it could be buffed, but I'm sure the frame may need some work. Also, can they tow a 16' Fiberglass boat? I recently obtained my grandfathers 1961 Custom Craft Searay, so it would be cool to tow the boat with a similar year car.Last edited by Matt167; 12-19-2012 at 11:59 AM.
You don't know what you've got til it's gone

1930's styled hand built ratrod project
1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle Wolfsburg Edition- sold
I've had a lot of BIG things happening to me lately but now I'm back to working on the car some, it feels good! The tranny mount was bad and that helped put everything back where it should be....
