It's my pleasure to introduce ..........
.... "Timmy" ......... our "Bad Brit" .........after 5 years and 2 months of sometimes frustrating work (or lack of), our 1948 English Ford Thames 1/4 ct. panel van is finally completed (for the most part .... at least he's finally out of the shop ....... we still have a few items which need to be addressed)
327 cubic inch Corvette engine now putting out approximately 375 horsepower, Turbo Hydro 350 tranny with a B&M 2800 stall converter, 9" Ford rear with 3.50:1 gears
I'll try to get some video one day and post a you-tube link so you can hear the little rascal
Thanks to all of you for patiently following his build and providing encouragement along the way. It really helped keep us on track.

It's funny how you can find the perfect combination of stance, wheel and component styles, wheel and tire sizes, and a color that fits the era.... and presto! ....That "just right" look! Good job!

John, it has been a pleasure to follow your build and I must say, the 'Bad Brit' is beautiful. Hotrodpaint said it best, it looks "just right". Congratulations!!!

It's the guys like you who hang in there through thick and thin that command respect. You certainly had some " challenges" along the way but look at the spectacular end result.
But you should have painted it green, because lots of us are green with envy. Now put some miles on that baby.

it's a beautiful car, well done..............one question tho...........the fuel cell. Is it legal for it to be in the car right behind the driver/passenger without a bulkhead?
