New engine coming together for the Studester

We're getting close to seeing the completion of the new engine build for the Studester. The 383 engine that's propelled her for the past 6 years was passed down to the 52 GMC we built this past summer, with the intention of building a new stroker that would have the performance and appearance worthy of this unique rod. I tasked Ed Hurst of Hurst Engines to spec and build what I had in mind, and its looking like a thing of beauty...

I didn't know you were going to post this on here or I would have talked it up a bit :LOL:. I know you are going to be pleased with the engine. I wish I could be there to see the initial run in the truck. I hope you get good prices on tires.:)
