Well its a long story so I will shorten it . A guy I work with has been wanting me to take this car so he may see it on the road again . It's has all the major rust and work from a field car , but has been inside for almost 30 years in Indiana .

He never said it was a convertible , so when I went to see it I said yes . He said 1k I paid $750 for it .

He purchased the car in 1978 for 1K for his wife at the time . They drove it and had a couple dingies with it . They sought a guy who worked on the side and after many years of nothing being done brought it back home .

So here it is at it's present state .

I did get it running with a new set of points .

Now the best part of the rose here I went to look at a fender for it and the guys buys and sells parts just from Cougars . He coaxed me a little to buy this California car CHEAP since I was saving the vert .

I will section a lot of this rebuild so it goes a little faster between the others .

Album of the California Coupe even with most of the emissions attached . I can make a little cash back there .

The 70 Cougar XR-7 for parts has no title .
