what would it take to switch out a 70 Jag rear end in a 29 Ford sedan and put in a quick change? I'm getting tired of the tire rubbing the body, on just about any bumps in the road.

Does the tire rub because of it's height, or it's width??? If the tire is too close because of the tire's height, you could just raise the coilovers a round or two...If the tire is too close because it's too wide, a different backspace wheel would cure that. Whichever solution cures it would be much less $$$$ and far easier then switching rear ends.... Going from a Jag IRS to a Quicky would require some serious mods to the rear frame plus the cost of the quick change itself!!!
I could give the coil overs a couple of turns but I don't want to get alot of air between the top of the tire and the wheel opening either. The wheels on the car now are just about to push the tires outside the fenders. I don't want that either. I guess I need to think on this one a while. Thanks
