It's my pleasure to introduce ..........

.... "Timmy" ......... our "Bad Brit" .........after 5 years and 2 months of sometimes frustrating work (or lack of), our 1948 English Ford Thames 1/4 ct. panel van is finally completed (for the most part .... at least he's finally out of the shop ....... we still have a few items which need to be addressed)

327 cubic inch Corvette engine now putting out approximately 375 horsepower, Turbo Hydro 350 tranny with a B&M 2800 stall converter, 9" Ford rear with 3.50:1 gears

I'll try to get some video one day and post a you-tube link so you can hear the little rascal

Thanks to all of you for patiently following his build and providing encouragement along the way. It really helped keep us on track.

Great job and it was great following the build.

It's the guys like you who hang in there through thick and thin that command respect. You certainly had some " challenges" along the way but look at the spectacular end result. :)

But you should have painted it green, because lots of us are green with envy. :D Now put some miles on that baby.:cool:

That is a beautiful prize for all the patience you had to use up. Like that old saying, "Please look out, I am at my last nerve and you are standing on it." I am sure you had that thought a few times.

Congratulations on your new baby boy "Timmy". :) In time as you wean him to high octane, he may scream and keep you awake, but little blue boys like yours are worth it, and though it is expensive to raise little ones, though he will be worth it. These little Brits will only improve in value as they mature!:LOL::D:LOL::cool:

Yes sir, it has been in all three states where I've had the car.

A beautiful piece of art and I am sure a labor of love. I really like the stance and that color is awesome.

No sir, it's not any special creation. Believe it or not that's Chevrolet Aqua Blue Metallic ......... a 2009 Chevy Colorado truck color :eek::eek:

Oh he just went and worked on his model car kits and the smell of the glue calmed him down----
