350/350 at 2500 rpms,running 65 mph with 26" tires what are my rear end gears?
Figuring it out with NO slippage from the torque convertor the ratio is 2.976.
Dedending on how tight or loose the convertor is it would be in the 3.00-3.10 range.
dlotraf33 you might want to check your tach, speedometer or gear ratio. With the 28 inch tall tire and 3.42 gear your RPM at 65 would be in the 2700 RPM range (2668 RPM without any convertor slippage taken into account).
