Let's see if we can get some discussion going on this one!

Maybe it's the moderate climate, but while I've been here in Vegas for the past three weeks, I've seen quite a few cars that would be of interest to the folks who hang here.

Taking morning walks within a couple miles either direction from our house I've seen the following :
at one house; '40 Ford deluxe coupe
'40 Ford pickup (I think it's his daily driver)
Model A coupe rod in the garage
all three were California black plate cars

next door; Model A coupe body in front of garage door
'56 Buick Century 2dr hardtop beside garage
'62 Buick convertible next to that

two doors down; '63 Corvair convertible

elsewhere; Mid fifties F-100

down that street; a yard full of '53-54 Chevrolets (about 20)
all body styles represented including a convertible in the garage
then there is the '54 Chev pickup, looks like a daily driver
also a '56 Nomad wagon

1/2 a block away; '63 Nova SS hardtop
'38 Ford pickup, both beside the house
Driving by this house on saturday morning I had to stop, he had his '36 Ford 3 window in the drive, next to his '65 Galaxie convertible. The Model A he bought from the original owner in 1947 was in the garage!

at another house; '36 Ford pickup in the drive
another; '46,7,or 8 Ford coupe (could only see the roof)

Mind you, these are all complete cars (except for the A body), in reasonably good shape, not hulks, most look to be driven, at least occasionally (well, maybe not some of the "family" of Chevs)

Then in garages I've seen open just around the corner from our house a '38 Chev coupe, and a '40 Ford pickup project.

There were a number of mid '70's vettes around (not much interest to me). Just a lot of neat cars, just in this small of an area. Lord knows what else lurks behind all those 3 and 4 car garage doors (besides the usual clutter of excess)!

Surprisingly there is very little cruise activity here, their first organized cruise-in is this Friday (unfortunately we leave Thursday). But there sure are a lot of car freaks! Where ever we drive the '56 wagon we always get the thumbs up and smiles routine.

Anyway, let's hear from some others with similar observations.
