Thread: Need some help finding Valve cover gasket

Guys i'm looking for a pair of gaskets for my Cadillac valve covers, I think they are 49-54 ???
I've looked on Ebay but they list Felpro numbers, Would anyone know the Felpro number for these ???

Steve, I'd be happy to make another NAPA run for you, so I called our local store. It is a special order for them out of FelPro in Illinois, and he says they are probably shut down until after New Years Day. Let me know if you need help over here.

Thanks for that Dave, unfortunatly i don't use Rock auto as like a lot of sellers in the U.S. they charge ridiculous amounts for international shipping, those gaskets were nearly $50 to ship !!!

I understand Steve - it's that they do have part numbers. Shipping to the UK is outrageous. Thankfully our daughter and her family moved back to the US so I no longer have to listen to my wife scream after every trip to the post office

should not be hard to get Kanter and egge machine should have them you can not get felpro in your neck of the woods ? if you can not find them .luck would be very good i can get them at a store here in town that has NOS stuff and i have some old stuff i can get as well

Able to leap tall curbs in a single bound! Steve, I also called Advanced Auto and they have a better deal on the FelPros. They still have to special order them, like NAPA, but they don't charge inbound freight from FelPro to them. I still have to go in and prepay, but they quoted the same turnaround time. I'll stop by and see them Sunday, if they have reopened from Christmas. If not, Monday.

If this keeps up I am going to have to go into the import/export business.

yep still want to see the cape the girls at the strip clubs were allways luke warm with use then one day i told them i was in the inport /export business( really i was not ) .had to beat them off with a stick

hahaha, i bet you didnt hit em too hard with that stick!!
