Of course this is an opinion (mine)
I've seen the visors on Model A's with 1 to 2 inch holes in them and really don't care much for them. Is your car is a going to be 'rat'(I don't think so), then that might be different. Do you have that visor off now? If so, make up a similar cardboard version and see what it looks like. That's one Model A part that repro replacements have not been well made though I have seen homemade versions that are barely OK (now if you had a slant windshield '31 Fordor, it wouldn't have a visor)Dave W

I've always liked them drilled, sort of gives a drag strip look to them. Guess it's just what you like that counts though, and what look you are going for.

My understanding is that they started drilling them to relieve air pressure as the cars went faster than Henry designed them to go.

I personally don't care for that look. For some reason it just draws my eye to it every time I see one, It takes away from the chop in the roof. Just my 2 cents, if you like it go for it.

IMO, they look okay on a rat rod or a suede highboy, but I don't like them on a nicely finished rod.

Is it in the theme of the build or not. You can do a mock up on drawing paper and attach it to the visor to see how you like it.

Me too reminds me of the drag look, flared or not flared look? A buddy of mine say's they didnt flare them in the good old days.

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
